Biking around Warsaw

We decided yesterday that we would try out the local bike stations and ride around town.... best idea ever!

We started our day with a nice hot homemade breakfast which consisted of a croissant sandwich with eggs, bacon, cheese, and tomato. I think this was the first time we've had a hot breakfast since we starting traveling.
Breakfast of champions!
Stacy and I have been craving coffee for the last few days..... we had a hiccup with the stove yesterday (we didn't have a match or lighter to light the stove) making it impossible to make coffee. We ended up purchasing some matches at the store so when we went to make coffee this morning we were bitterly disappointed to find out that the product we purchased that we THOUGHT was coffee was only just a weird coffee-like tea! The polish language is hard to understand! After our hearty breakfast we headed out to pick up our train tickets for tomorrow. We passed by a coffee shop so we made a quick stop.

We then picked up a few bikes from a bike stop and headed out! Biking is so fun! I could do it all day! Plus Warsaw is super bike friendly and almost no hills.

Our rides.

We stopped at this park area that had a few gardens and The Palace on the Isle... here are our photos.

After we were done checking out the parks we decided to go find something quick to eat. We stumbled across this little hole-in-the-wall rotisserie chicken place on a street corner.  It was SO DELICIOUS and cheap! We were happy with our decision.

Half a chicken
We then biked back towards home.... but Stacy and Ryan have been super obsessed with this stinkin' stadium....so we had to stop a take a picture.

For some reason the restaurants surrounding our Airbnb studio are all non-polish foods..... we passed by an Indian restaurant earlier in the day so we decided we would go check it out. It was pretty good... not the same as our favorite place in Westlake Village .... Bollywood... but it still hit the spot.

The rest of our night will consist of checking/documenting our expenses and packing our bags.  Our train to Poznan Poland leaves tomorrow morning.

Cześć!
